This recipe comes from Rachael Ray. It’s VERY delicious and a good change to the classic grilled cheese (the one us vegetarian’s live off of if we go out to eat). I cook mine on the George Foreman grill. Great in the spring and summer!

I received a nonstick tortilla bowl baker for Christmas from my boyfriend and we decided to try it out. This recipe is for 1 taco salad bowl (it serves about 2 people). The only thing you might have to buy to make this is the bowl baker, which you can find online or maybe at a kitchen gadget store (mine came from The Alley in Riverside). The baker can also be used for baking bread, creating molded desserts and salads, etc. You can add to this recipe or take out anything you don’t like.I thought this was a very delicious meal! It has everything you need… carbs, protein, and vegetables. Very filling and the bowl is very impressive. I had this for lunch two days in a row the first time I made this!

I absolutely love this recipe! My boyfriend and I made it for the first time on Valentine’s Day 2005. It’s pretty simple to make. Serve with rolls/breadsticks and sparkling cider for a special occasion. This is one of the best pasta recipes I have found. Some might think it’s a little bland, but I LOVE it. It’s easy to make and it’s not as unhealthy as typical pesto dishes. You won’t feel guilty after you’ve had it. This recipe came from Kraft Foods.

This is good as a last minute meal. You can keep most of the items on hand (just keep the crust frozen). This is like the BBQ sandwich post, I don’t really need to tell you what to do (no recipe needed). You can add whatever you want to the pizza and use whatever products you like. The basic ingredients:
Cook for about 10-15 minutes at 350 degrees on a cookie sheet or pizza stone (if using stone, don’t preheat the oven). I put mine in for only 8 and it was still cold. I just popped it in the microwave to save time.
Note: The Pepperoni slices dry up quick in the oven. Maybe add them half way through cooking.

I made this last night. It’s a very traditional recipe but with a meat substitute in place of the beef. You can use any substitute you like. I used VegeOne, a new item I found at the La Sierra Health Foods store in Riverside, CA. This recipe is actually on the back of the spice mix, but this version is modified. I thought the meat substitute I used was a little weird though. I ended up doing the same thing I did when I was a child, I ate the potatoes and carrots and ate around everything else
Next time, different meat substitute.
